Satellite needs a compatible phone and plan
WildPing sends over satellite when both your phone and your mobile plan support it — not every phone or plan does yet. Without satellite it works wherever you have cell coverage. Check the app's Status screen (Readiness on iPhone) before you head out, and ask your provider if you're unsure.
WildPing isn't a replacement for a personal locator beacon — carry one for genuine emergencies.

Start tracking on your phone
Open WildPing before you head out. It records your position and uploads it over whatever link it can reach — cellular or satellite.
Share your track
Send a friend your one-tap link (or a share code + password). They can start watching in seconds.
They follow along
Your track appears live on a map on this site — last position, battery and how each point was sent.
If something goes wrong
Send an emergency alert in the app. Your contact gets a live-tracking link and your device keeps pinging until you stand it down.

The standard plans are built for individuals. If you need to keep eyes on a whole group — a fleet of vehicles, a field crew, a training exercise, a search team, an event spread across a range — we work with you directly and shape WildPing around the job. Nothing about how it runs is fixed.
One view of your whole fleet
Every vehicle and person on a single live map, named the way you name them. Access for your ops room and named staff is set up for you — no share codes or passwords to hand around.
Tuned to the exercise
Tracking interval, how long data is kept, and who gets alerted and how — all set to suit the operation, then changed as it evolves. If you need something we don't do yet, ask.
One monthly invoice
A single consolidated bill for the whole organisation, monthly or per deployment, with a purchase order if you need one. No individual subscriptions to chase.
Sized to the job, quickly
A handful of units for a weekend or a whole fleet for weeks at a time, one-off or ongoing. Accounts are provisioned in hours, and your data is yours — retained for as long as you say, then gone.
Organisation agreements are arranged directly with WildPing and applied to your organisation's accounts. Your people use the standard WildPing app from the App Store or Google Play — nothing special to install. Off-grid coverage still needs satellite-capable phones and plans (see the FAQ); we'll help you check your devices before you commit.
